Greetings! I’ve been receiving so many wonderful emails but a few readers have asked how to find the store. Which is really a great question! Please know that the Walker & Daughter yarn shop is located on the Upper West Side…of the imagination. And the story of The Friday Night Knitting Club is a work of fiction. But just because you aren’t able to physically come to Walker & Daughter for supplies – because it doesn't actually have a street address – doesn’t mean you can’t Join the Club. The point of this website is to build community between readers, via the message boards, just as the characters in the story build connections with each other. And it’s to share the idea of starting your own clubs in your own communities. Not to mention that you can share the novel with your book club (and you’ll find a great reading group guide from Putnam at www.fridaynightknittingclub.com).
